Where Strategy Met
Determination.
It started with a handshake at an investor's office in San Diego, CA. Simon Leach — an Englishman who had spent years inside the corporate finance world, raising hundreds of millions in capital — met Carlos Juan Tenorio, a Colombian-born entrepreneur who had built his first business at 19 and never stopped since.
What began as a professional relationship quickly became a shared conviction: that the U.S. financial system — built on order, discipline, and precision — was leaving Latino business owners behind. Not because they lacked the drive or vision. But because no one had built the bridge.
So they built it. Together, Simon and CJ founded Forza Advantage — combining Simon's deep knowledge of how large corporations access capital with CJ's firsthand experience navigating every stage of business financing as an entrepreneur. The result is a company uniquely equipped to serve businesses that have been overlooked for too long.
This venture is dedicated to a great father, mentor, and friend — Carlos Tenorio Senior — whose belief in people and purpose inspired everything that Forza Advantage stands for.

Simon brings decades of corporate finance experience to Forza Advantage. As CFO of a portfolio encompassing over 6,000 residential units, he helped raise more than $500 million in capital — working alongside multi-billion-dollar investment funds and institutional lenders. He understands, from the inside, exactly what banks and investors look for — and he has made it his mission to help small business owners meet that standard.

Born in Colombia and raised with an entrepreneurial spirit, CJ launched his first business at 19 — while studying and working full-time. That experience gave him a ground-level education in business finance that no classroom could replicate. Today, CJ is a recognized expert in business financing, having mastered every tool available to help companies at every stage — from startup to scale. He serves as the bridge between Forza's clients and the capital they need to grow.
