It applies when you apply for, or inquire about, a business funding or credit product through Forza Advantage — for example, by submitting our Credit Application — and explains how we collect, use, share, and protect the nonpublic personal information involved in that process. It supplements, and does not replace, the rest of this Privacy Policy.
Nonpublic Personal Information ("NPI"). "NPI" means personally identifiable financial information that you provide to us on an application, or that we otherwise obtain in connection with providing a financial product or service to you, together with any list or grouping derived from it. However, federal law does not let you limit certain disclosures, including: sharing necessary to process or complete a transaction you requested (for example, submitting your application to a lender you have asked us to pursue); sharing with service providers that perform services for us; sharing with consumer reporting agencies; and sharing required or permitted by law.
To exercise any available opt-out, or to ask questions about your choices, contact us at [email protected] or (442) 333-2990. We will honor your request as required by law.
How We Protect Your Information. Consistent with the GLBA Safeguards Rule, we maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the security, confidentiality, and integrity of your NPI. These include encrypting sensitive information in transit and at rest, restricting access to the personnel and providers who need it to serve you, vetting and contractually binding our service providers, and applying heightened protection to highly sensitive identifiers such as Social Security numbers, which are not stored in plain text within our general business systems. No system can be guaranteed perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information in line with applicable law.
Former Applicants and Clients. If our relationship ends, we continue to apply this Financial Privacy Notice to the NPI we retain, and we retain and dispose of that information in accordance with the Data Retention section above and applicable law.
